09-27-2006 6:18 PM — Evolved Digital Solutions Inc. has announced that Bill D. Greer has been selected to replace Richard J. Eskind as the company's president and chief executive officer. Eskind, a major investor in the healthcare imaging developer, has served as its interim CEO since last October. He will continue in his role as chairman of the board. With this announcement Greer becomes the fifth CEO for the company in less than five years.
Eskind took the reins after Paul Hoyt lasted less than six months in the role. Previously, John Southcott had the job on an interim basis after the departure of Jon Lehman. Lehman was the CEO of the Brentwood-based predecessor, Inphact, which merged with Quebec-based Electromed in 2003 to form Evolved Digital.
Evolved Digital, which provides services to hospital and clinic imaging departments, is based in Quebec but is run from a U.S. headquarters in Brentwood.
