08-10-2006 1:23 PM — Insurer HealthSpring Inc. has named Andy Flatt as its chief information officer. According to HealthSpring Chief Marketing Officer Craig Schub, Flatt succeeds Lyle Hill, who will remain with the company's information-technology organization.
Flatt, 44, previously served as CIO for AIM Healthcare Services Inc. of Brentwood. He has also worked locally for Columbia-HCA Physician Services and Baptist Health Care Affiliates. Earlier, he founded and ran two local IT firms, Aztec Software and MIQS Inc.
Flatt is a graduate of Lipscomb University and is on the board of directors of the Nashville Technology Council.
