Perry March convicted on all counts

Faces 15- to 25-year prison sentence

06-08-2006 2:40 PM

The jury has delivered its verdict in the conspiracy trial of Perry March: guilty on all counts.

The nine-woman, three-man panel convicted March on one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and two counts of solicitation to commit first-degree murder. The jury heard abundant evidence this week of a plot to kill Lawrence and Carolyn Levine, March's in-laws.

March sat impassively as the verdicts were read.

Davidson County Criminal Court Judge Steve Dozier will set a sentencing date shortly. March faces a sentence of at least 15 years and up to 49 years in prison.

The former Nashville attorney also faces sentencing later this month for his conviction in April on theft charges. On August 7, he will go on trial for the alleged murder of his wife, Janet March, who went missing in 1996 and whose body has never been found.
