W. Scott Rose joined the firm’s litigation section. The University of Virginia-law graduate specialties include employment law and non-competition agreements, disputes among officers, directors and owners of closely held business and contract disputes. Scott also works with clients to minimize liability exposure through planning and risk management. He once worked for former Sen. Fred Thompson and clerked for U.S. District Judge Robert Echols.
Allison Batts joined the firm’s insolvency section. Batts, a graduate of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville’s law school, will practice in the areas of Chapter 11 bankruptcy, out-of-court workouts and creditors' rights.
