Former UnitedHealthCare President Jack Wickens has become a partner with NMG Advisers Inc. affiliate Compass Executives LLC, a group of senior executives that consults with companies in transition between key executives, or experiencing growth or other challenges.
Compass Managing Director Don Williamson said in a statement issued this morning that the plan is for Wickens to serve as a mentor, interim executive or board member to one or more companies. Compass executives also collaborate to develop new business for Compass, thereby benefiting NMG Advisers and its more recently formed Memphis Management Group affiliate.
During more than eight years with UnitedHealthCare, a UnitedHealth Group company, Wickens served as a regional president, as a health plan CEO and as national health plan president. Wickens' earlier served as executive director with MetraHealth in Cincinnati, which was acquired by then United Healthcare Corp. Earlier, Wickens was an executive in the Nashville office of Prudential Financial.
