More retail for Charlotte, Antioch warehouse rising, Hotel Indigo and Encore finishing out, and more

More Charlotte retail
The Parkes Co. pulled is constructing a 72,809-square-foot retail center at 6622 Charlotte Pike. PetSmart, arts and crafters retail A.C. Moore, Staples and Party City will fill the spaces. The permits total more than $4.4 million.

Antioch gaining large warehouse
Hawkins Development is constructing a 570,000-square foot warehouse at 3815 Logistics Way in Antioch. Nashville real estate firm Chas. Hawkins Co. has listed it as Logistics Way Business Center. The permit is valued at $22.5 million.

Encore rising
Brasfield & Gorrie pulled permits to finish out each of the floors in the 20-story Encore condominium project at 301 Demonbreun St. in downtown. The work includes retail space on the first floor. In total, the permits are valued at $24.3 million.

Choice work
Choice Inc. pulled a permit to finish out the conversion of the office building at 1719 West End Ave. into a 140-room Hotel Indigo. The permit is valued at $5.5 million.

Deutsche Bank space
Flow Construction is rehabbing 16,800 square feet of 648 Grassmere Park for Deutsche Bank. The permit is valued at $522,000.

Skyline Medical ADA work
Batten & Shaw is making some interior and exterior modifications to Skyline Medical Center at 3441 Dickerson Pike to meet ADA requirements. The work is valued at $243,519.

Anesthesia rehab
Powell Building Group is rehabbing the first floor of the existing Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia in Madison. The permit is valued at $230,000.
