Digital Reasoning hires new VP of product development

10-09-2006 12:06 PM — Digital Reasoning Systems, a Brentwood-based software company, announced today that it has hired Harry Schultz to be vice president of product development and solutions.

Before joining DRS, Schultz worked as the manager of the federal systems development division for Louisiana-based emergency management consulting company IEM Inc. In that position, he developed products and systems for, among others, FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security. In addition to his work with IEM, he also served as the technical services division manager for the city of Nashville, and the director of program management and eGovernment for the State of Tennessee.

In this new role, he will aid DRS in developing new applications for the company's technology, which is currently used by the military to process large amounts of raw text into usable intelligence.
