Franklin-based population health management firm Gordian Health Solutions announced today that it has selected Phillip D. Suiter to serve as president and CEO.
He will replace John Schull, who came to the the position on an interim basis from BlueCross BlueShield when former Gordian CEO Gregg O. Lehman left the company to head up Inspiris. Schull will now return to his old job with BlueCross BlueShield, parent of Gordian, as vice president.
Suiter is a former president and CEO of Murfreesboro-based Stinger Medical. In addition to that position, he has served as director of development at Vanderbilt's Center for Better Health. He also worked with NotifyMD, and he was a founder and executive vice president of Medical Properties of America.
Most recently, Suiter has worked with Vanderbilt University Medical Center's Office of Technology Transfer in the in an effort to commercialize one of its new software application suites.
