ISDN-Net expands coverage with two in-state acquisitions

05-13-2004 4:25 PM — ISDN-Net has acquired two Tennessee residential Internet service providers, the Nashville-based Internet service provider said in a Thursday release.

With the purchase of Cookeville-based MultiPro Network and Net-Serv of Nashville, 10 year-old ISDN-Net has increased the number of its clients to 30,000 across 87 counties. While remaining focused on providing broadband Internet access and other services to the Tennessee business community, ISDN-Net recognized the importance of offering economical dial-up access to residential customers, Jerry Dunlap, president of ISDN-Net, said in a release.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1995, MultiPro Network (http://www.multipro.com/coverage.html) was the first to offer web hosting and e-mail services to the Cumberland Plateau. ISDN-Net plans to upgrade services to MultiPro and Net-Serv customers as part of its growth strategy.
