06-18-2003 12:00 AM — Two lawyers recently have joined the Nashville office of Greenebaum Doll & McDonald. Kevin M. Doherty, a Princeton graduate and former Patrick Wilson scholar at Vanderbilt Law School, has joined the firm’s healthcare and insurance practice group. Doherty, most recently an attorney on Music Row, was last a partner at Gladstone Doherty & Associates, a firm he co-founded. He brings with him more than fifteen years of experience in insurance regulation law.

The second addition to the firm is Maria Sheffield. She, too, will join the health care and insurance practice group as an associate. She will concentrate her practice in the areas of insurance regulatory law and government relations. She has worked for the Georgia department of insurance for six years and also brings with her extensive political experience at both the state and national level.

"Kevin and Maria’s joining the firm expands our Nashville practice's capabilities and strengthens our plans for growth in the Nashville area,” Jim Beckner, member-in-charge of Greenebaum’s Nashville office, said in a release.

Both attorneys will maintain offices here and in Atlanta.
