EC president to leave at year’s end

Nashville Entrepreneur Center President and COO Sam Lingo will step down from his roles Dec. 31 after nearly seven years with the business incubator.

Lingo joined the EC in mid-2010 as its second employee after working at U.S. Cryogenics and was named COO in 2011. He was lauded as a key player in developing and building the EC’s partnerships with Nashville business leaders as well as with Google, Inc. magazine, former AOL boss Steve Case and the Kauffman Foundation, among others. He added the president title to his business card late last year.
